4 months agoWe love right down the street from River Rock, which is also next to most of America’s top 10 fast food burger joints. I don’t understand why anyone would stop anywhere else. The burgers here are the best example of an American burger, the curly fries are a classic and just the perfect compliment to the burger. The restaurant decor and service is good, but we come for the food.

5 months agoAs always, this place is outstanding. I love their food. The owners are so incredibly nice and friendly. Everything is always as fast quick efficient and very tasty. I always look forward to a return visit.

10 months agoIf you're lucky, they might throw something together for you with whatever they've got in the kitchen, and that's a strong maybe. Defiantly only for drinking beers with old guys, that is if you don't mind paying 5 dollars for a 12oz Coors light.

a year agoFirst I have ever stopped here and was very satisfied. I seldom order burgers out, yet it felt totally right today, a bacon cheeseburger and I was right; outstandingly delicious and cooked exactly as I asked. A great view of the river. Service was very polite, swift and attentive. This seems to be a neighborhood kind of establishment that has been here forever, that plenty must know yet no one knows. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere reminds me strongly of hometown small town friendly as heck grill and beer bar. For those that want a high end, new and pristine fashion decor interior eatery this would not wow you, however those appreciating a comfortable cozy, clean though somewhat dated and homey setting this is all us. It also has plentiful big screens for sports, news or daytime TV watching. Very glad I gave a new to me place a lunch try out today.

2 years agoGreat food. Great prices. Nice view of the river, a little hard to see in summer, though. Local bar atmosphere. Widescreen tv's Low ceilings, pool table, low lighting, lingering cigarette smell. Sandwich, chips & drink for under $10. Very friendly people.

5 years agoMan oh man. This is so one of those secret little places that doesn't seem to exist but really does, doesn't it? It does and if you can catch it open you're in for a treat. I don't know but I'm betting that those cheese burgers are cooked on one of those old cast iron grills that has been pregnated with beef juice for a long time. OH COLD BEER!! Yeah drinking these beers will just spoil the hell out of you. To be honest I've only eaten there probably once in the last 20 years although I've caught trout on a fly more times around there than eaten there. That will change as of last Tuesday. My wife and I will be back, that's a promise and a threat at the same time. I'LL BE BACK with or without Tony Mimick cause now I know the secret.

Edited 8 years agoOne of our first stops when in town. Cold beer. Great food. Best burgers around. Nice place for relaxing lunch on the river. Owners are friendly and provide great service. Stopped in here several times a week when we lived here for years. Always look forward to stopping in for a cold brew &/burger and seeing Dave & Penny and other friends.
